Oh hello super festive and delicious cocktail. This concoction is as delicious as it is pretty! It actually wasn’t our intention to create such a Christmas-y cocktail, but as I’m sure you’ve realized, we aren’t the best planners, and the fruit we wanted to use wasn’t in season. But hey, I’m not mad about it, this was a total win! Our goal of these cocktails is to make sure they are easy to make, but add just a little #extra to your party or regular Thursday.
What you’ll need:
- Triple Sec
- Pomegranate juice
- 1 pomegranate (or just the seeds, sometimes you can find those, which makes life WAY easier)
- Red Sugar
We rimmed the glass with red sugar, which is completely optional, but adds a little extra sweetness and prettiness to the drink. To help the sugar stick, use a raspberry to rub around the rim before you dip the glass in the sugar. (I sat here staring at the computer for 10 minutes trying to figure out how NOT to make that sound dirty, but this is the best I could come up with).
In a glass combine:
- 5 oz of Prosecco
- 1/2 oz Triple Sec
- 1 oz Pomegranate juice
- Add in raspberries and Pomegranate seeds for garnish in the glass
