October is here! I love October, it is the start of the holidays and the time I say “Oh shit, the year is almost over!”. I have been working really hard this year to meet my goals. I have done a lot to make sure that for the start of 2018 I am where I want to be both personally and professionally. Ultimately, I think at the beginning of the year I made a lot of goals without a plan on how to actually achieve them. I have been working throughout the year to really focus on what I want and how I am going to get there. It has been a lot of trial and error thats for sure!
Robby and I both had major career changes which has been a huge positive for our family, but at times can be a little overwhelming. I am finally feeling more settled in my new career venture. It has been a roller coaster ride for sure; I needed a steep learning curve, but I couldn’t be happier that I made the leap to leave my corporate 9-5 to work way more, but actually love what I do.
One of my goals this year was to create seasonal bucket lists to do with Dylan. This was important to start to make sure I was was handling a good work life balance. Dylan is at such a great age to enjoy holidays and look forward to events, I want to make sure I am soaking it all in. I have created our first bucket list for October! I am so excited to start crossing these off, it is already printed and hanging on the fridge.
What are you looking forward to this month? Do you have any plans to attend fun festivals or family parties?
